Filter Forge is a versatile Photoshop plugin that allows both novice users and experts create a wide variety of realistic and abstract textures and effects.
A large library of ready-to-use textures and photo effects available for free for Filter Forge users. All textures and effects are adjustable and resolution-independent. Many textures can be seamlessly tiled, feature real-world HDRI lighting, and can generate albedo, height, normal and other maps for Unity3D and Unreal Engine. Users can submit their own filters to get free Filter Forge. The Filter Library is a free online repository of filters created by our designers and Filter Forge users. You can submit your own filters to the Filter Library, and if they get popular with the Filter Forge users, you can earn rewards including a free copy of Filter Forge.
Users can take immediate advantage of more than 8650 free filters created in the community library in – line, or create your own filters in the editor visual filter by assembling them from components such as blurs, gradients, color adjustments, noises, distortions, or blends – without writing a single line of code.
New features added in Filter Forge 8:
Eyelashes
Filter Forge 8 adds tabs to the main window, similar to web browsers. You can charge a filter and a separate source image in each tab and render them simultaneously.
Preserving image metadata
Thanks to saving procedures rewritten images, Filter Forge 8.0 retains all image metadata when you apply an effect to your image: GPS, camera model, DPI and other information labels.
Backup and restore your filters and settings
Filter Forge 8 adds an integrated backup filters, presets, favorites and other configurations installed into a single file to be restored later on another computer or operating system, or a new version of Filter Forge tool.

Description
The final version of Filter Forge 8.0 is now available! It features independent main window tabs that allow you to apply different filters or filter settings and render all of them separately from each other, a new built-in backup tool, and other cool improvements. It also includes support for the latest OS versions and host applications including Photoshop CC 2019.

As all filters are generated procedurally, any filter can be rendered in any resolution without losing a detail.
